Domicile
Paintings in my Domicile series are visual psychodramas – studies in the emotive effects of color and ambiguous spaces. In some paintings, empty rooms evoke uneasiness or peaceful solitude. In others, colors and the arrangements of chairs and other design elements create feelings of alienation or amiable togetherness.
Other works in this series are simply portraits of companionable household objects such as chairs and tables, each with its own personality.
